In October, CARDSource employees had a beautiful day to complete our scheduled street cleanup. For the last four years, CARDSource has volunteered their time to clean local streets by participating in the City of Eagan’s Adopt-A-Street program.
The Adopt-A-Street program is a public service effort that connects local businesses, organizations and individuals with a dedicated street or thoroughfare that they can help to keep clean throughout the year. It helps ensure the streets stay looking great and clear of trash to maintain a positive community look and feel. The city provides trash bags and safety equipment, and in turn the volunteers are helping to save community tax dollars and promote overall pride in the community.
Multiple times each year a portion of CARDSource employees take a day to pick up litter on our adopted street. This is one of many things we do to support our community and keep our employees involved. It also goes along with our mission of making a positive difference both personally and professionally.
I enjoy each Adopt-A-Street day. It gives me a chance to work with my co-workers in a different environment. I appreciate the fact that CARDSource encourages community involvement.
