Marketing and Promotions for Small Business in Times of Crisis

The task of marketing your business in these truly unprecedented times is a daunting and challenging one, especially as many business owners face restrictions on the types of sales allowed and the closures of many service based companies.

Remaining in your customers line of sight is more important now than ever, but it's also important to be understanding that many of your customers may be experiencing life events that are not normal for them.  Increased stress, children remote learning, health concerns, declining business or even being furloughed from their employer are things we should remain aware of in our advertising messages.

So, the question is how do we remain sensitive to the world around us and not go out  of business at the same time?

Here are some ideas for encouraging customers to support  your business and keep revenue flowing.  I challenge you to be open to new ideas, to collaborate with other business owners and to utilize the strengths that make your business unique in the first place.
