At the beginning of July, CARDSource employees took part in Simon Says Give’s July High Five For Supplies drive. The goal of this drive is to collect essential school supplies for children in need. CARDSource's community action team assigned point values to specific items: backpacks, calculators, pencils, scissors, and more. The rules are simple: collect the most points for your team by the end of the month to win!

After team #4 led for the first few weeks, team #2 pulled out an extensive, last-minute victory!

At the conclusion of the drive, we collected a total of:

44 backpacks

26 packs of loose leaf paper

20 sets of markers

20 sets of colored pencils

45 sets of crayons

13 sets of watercolor paints

5 standard calculators

7 scientific calculators

32 sets of glue sticks

17 scissors

2 rulers

44 sets of 5+ pencils

12 sets of pens

3 erasers

13 pocket folders

81 spiral notebooks

10 highlighters

We couldn’t be prouder of enabling these children to succeed in school. It's always rewarding to band together for the sake of improving the community.
