In today’s digital first world, it feels like everything has moved online. From e-wallets to mobile coupons, there is no shortage of digital alternatives to traditional tools. And yet, when it comes to gift cards and loyalty programs, physical cards continue to outperform their electronic counterparts. The question is simple: if e-cards are so convenient, why are businesses still investing heavily in plastic and paper cards? The answer lies in psychology, marketing, and measurable return on investment.

In the digital age, where apps and virtual wallets dominate, physical items like loyalty cards or VIP keyring hangers may seem outdated. However, these tangible tools offer unique benefits that go beyond encouraging repeat visits. They play a significant role in fostering brand awareness, visibility, and overall business growth.
Warmer weather has reached us here in Minnesota and the CARDSource crew is ready for your spring projects!
We are really excited to share our Certification in the Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) Great Printer Environmental Initiative program. This is a voluntary program in which printers demonstrate their commitment to minimize impact on human health and the environment while producing quality printed products.
It’s no secret that the CARDSource staff likes fishing. Therefore, it was no surprise this year when there was an employee-run fishing event for the 2016 fishing opener!
In 1970, the first Earth Day gave voice to an emerging consciousness, channeling human energy toward environmental issues. Forty-six years later, we continue to lead with groundbreaking ideas and by the power of example. Earth Day achieves a rare political and social alignment, enlisting support from Republicans and Democrats, rich and poor, city slickers and farmers, tycoons, and labor leaders. (earthday.org).
In CARDSource’s first big push of community action, we divvied our staff up into two teams and headed off to Feed My Starving Children in Eagan to make some meals for children in need! Combined with several other groups of volunteers, we packed a total of 304 boxes of food. To put this in perspective, this is 54,000 total meals, which will feed 148 children for an entire year!
Continuing in the giving tradition of the season, CARDSource has decided to participate in 360 Communities’ Armful of Love program.
